Learn to Make Every Moment a Healing Moment

I’m so happy to be offering a hands-on workshop to share the healing strategies I’ve been using for the past few years to be calm, connected, and balanced in my body and my overall being. I developed these strategies a few years ago when I decided enough is enough — I wanted my own tools, not only to help manage the day-to-day challenges of work and family life and living with anxiety and depression, but also to grow as a person, on all levels, for the long-term.

I wanted my own tools that would provide my overall being with quick and easy daily servicing and maintenance; heck, we have regular maintenance for our cars, our homes, and our computers, so why not for ourselves? I wanted tools that were quick and easy and that allowed me to deal with work and life challenges in the moment, as they came up. And, I wanted tools that were flexible so that I could adapt them for my changing needs and use them for any situation.SmallScaleDailyHealing Logo Feb2014

What I came up with are three self-directed healing strategies that I define as Small Scale, Daily Healing™. Small Scale, Daily Healing™ is quick, easy healing that you purposefully integrate into your daily activities and that becomes a habit so that you can heal and grow a little bit every day. These daily healing strategies provide general service and maintenance for your body and your entire being, and they can be tailored to address your unique challenges, whether they are physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual.

As a result of using my healing strategies every day, little by little, I’ve become happier, healthier, more confident, and more resilient. I’ve built strong, compassionate connections with my body and my being, and with the people and the world around me.

On March 29 in Nanaimo (B.C.), I’ll be sharing two of my healing strategies in a 4-hour, hands-on workshop, Be Calm, Connected & Balanced:

  • Build an Attentive, Compassionate Relationship with Your BFF (Body Friend Forever) – Practical tools to create strong connections with your body and being
  • Practice Visualizations – Learn 5 easy visualizations you can use anytime, anywhere, when you need them to deal with work and life challenges, and how to adapt them so that they work better for your unique needs
